Hello.
This is the soldbuch Ersatzausfertigung of the Feldwebel Werner Heitmann.
It was released on 08.02.1945 from the 10. Jager-Lehr-Kompanie of the Lehr-Regiment "Brandenburg", Feldpost 06387B.
The Feldwebel was then transferred to the 2. Kompanie of the Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs Regiment "Brandenburg".
From page 22 of the Ausweichugen, it appears that previously the soldier served at the 1. Kompanie, Infanterie Regiment 90 (20. Infanterie Division), on the East front.
Feldwebel Heitmann survived the war and how POW was restricted in Italy to the Lager of Rimini and Bellaria, so I think he fought in Italy.
But from my research it does not appear to me that Lehr-Regiment "Brandenburg" and Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs Regiment "Brandenburg" fought on the Italian front.
In Italy, the presence of the following departments is documented:
Regiment 3 Brandenburg (I.-III)
Alarm-Regiment Brandenburg
I./Regiment 3 Brandenburg
II./Regiment 3 Brandenburg
III./Regiment 3 Brandenburg
16. Kompanie / Regiment 4 Brandenburg.
I ask you a kind help to clarify my doubt.
Thank you.
Giovanni

Hallo Giovanni,

Hi Pietro.
Thanks for your answer.
This end-of-war soldbuch, which has almost all the same signatures and stamps, can be all good or all fake, of course.
But Bellaria's argument does not convince me.
I searched among my soldbuch, and for now I have found another with annotation of the Bellaria Lager. This is the SB of the Stabswachtmeister Bernhard Becker, which served mainly in the Heeres-Küsten-Artillerie-Abteilung 1116 and in the Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiment 1057, in Italy.
I am certain that the Bellaria annotation of this last soldbuch is original, like the whole document, also because I also have the repetitive receipt, see photo.
Regarding Lager 11a, from my research on the web, it is part of 16 blocks that went from Cervia, to Rimini up to Riccione, the 11th block is mainly reserved for Austrians and the SS, the block 6 was that of the health personnel and of the the elderly, the auslaenders also Italian to the block 12, the command of the LXXVI Armee-Korps to the nr.13, the recalcitrans to the blocks 4 and 5 etc.
Look at these links, in Italian:

Hello Giovanni,
You are totaly right with the 11a entry. I've made a mistake: also, I have a Soldbuch of a Sani-Soldier (715.ID then 471) who was in Lager 6a, see the Equipment page.
https://dokumentenforum.de/index.php?thre…h-san-komp-715/But I'm still sure that the entry in the first SB is a fake.
1) As I told you I saw different of this entry with this purple pencil. See the Image below: for me another fake entry related to Bellaria. This one (first Image) is probably one of the first made by this person - an Italian for what I've understand-, now has probably and unfortunately a better hand.
2) It's quite clear that two different hands made the signature on the Security-Check page. The first is the good one, the others are faked.
And again, BL for Bataillon, never seen. Batl. I think is the only solution. But here I want to hear our german friends in the forum.
Then, first the officer write OBLT (correct), then OBTN, then OBLTN. ??3) There are not any informations about the employment of the unit in Italy.
4) The second document you post, for me is a good one!
Greetings
Pietro -
I forgot this one.
Here tha faker wanted to write an entry as he probably saw in other SB like the one you post... with terrible results! So he decided to make the other entry.

Hi Pietro.
Regarding the Brandenburg in Italy, I found only this comment on the WAM forum
http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5789682
which I quote verbatim:
"" This was "Lehr Regiment Brandenburg z.b.v Nr.800 (Training Regiment)" which on 5 March 1944 became "Brandenburg Alert Regiment" and transferred to Italy some time between March and the start of June 1944. ""
Unfortunately the source of this information is not mentioned, perhaps Tessin?
Regards, Giovanni
